This is a medium range trek, that would require a complete week. The key highlights are the destination 'Chandrashila peak' itself, which is the highest peak in the nearby areas. Visit to the Tungnath temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world. The trek is easy, and can be done by people of average fitness levels. This is an ideal trek for small groups and corporate teams.
The trek will give a complete experience, right from self supported journey to camping in wilderness. The itinerary is easy paced, and will give ample time to the participants to enjoy the surroundings at leisure.

Early morning departure to Sari village near Okhimath. Start trek to reach a beautiful lake called Deoriya Tal. This lake is famous for its reflection of Chaukhamba peaks. Camp besides the lake.
Day 2:
Deoriya Tal to Tikar Khal. Overnight in tents.
Day 3:
Tikar Khal to Chopta camp site, passing through forests and beautiful sceneries. Chopta is known for its beautiful meadows and wide span. In early march there is possibility of seeing snow all around. This site will be our base for the next 2 days.
Day 4:
Visit to Tungnath temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world, followed by a summit to the Chandrashila peak. This is the highest peak in the nearby areas. Offers a very wide view of Himalayas. Return back to the camp site.
Day 5:
Trek back towards Chopta. Drive back to Rishikesh. Reach by evening. Continue the return journey further.
